Melancholic layered synth soundscapes, dreamy melodies shrouded in tons of reverb and thick yet delicate vocals, this is the sound of Never Sol. Melting in ambient surfaces, her music cuts deep with its distorted and noisy elements. Detailed songwriting, intricate chord progressions, synths and voice are the cornerstones of her musical output. At times, her songs veer into David Lynch territory. They are full-bodied, strong and eerie. Sometimes they are darkly serene, modest and elegantly captivating. Never Sol is now on tour with her new album “Chamaleo”, which was released on Czech label Supraphon Records. She recorded her second LP in her cosy attic studio in Prague surrounded by plants and wood, using only hardware synthesisers and vocals.
