Mount Roraima is an instrumental band comprised of four friends from South Bohemia in the Czech Republic who met after many years in Prague. Bridging together inspiration from their travels they create music rich in psychedelia bordering post rock. The symbol and name of the band is the monumental rocky massif, Mount Roraima a jewel of South America shrouded in mystery, that seeps into their music. A strong rhythmic base and long and drawn-out melodies conjure up feelings of nostalgia and wanderlust. Sometimes you seem to feel like you are immersed in an old and long forgotten western movie, other times Mount Roraima will shake the ground with thunderous walls of guitar so impending that there is no escape.
